Hayley Corney

Hayley was born Hayley Cameron Morris in 1978 in Ashington, Northumberland UK. Daughter to Mary Morris, a publican, and Sydney, an underwater explosives engineer. Her father is of part Italian descent, and her mother English, Scottish, and Jewish ancestry.

Hayley’s early performing ambitions leaned toward dance (primarily Royal ballet and Tap) and then singing professionally at around the age of 18 years.

Hayley only really discovered her passion for acting after being asked to be a supporting artist for ‘Vera’ and ‘Dumping Ground’. She enrolled into acting masterclasses with Act4TV and The Actors Forge.

Hayley gave a fabulous performance in her first film role as ‘Eloise’ (Danish mother to ‘Bente’ in ‘Quite by Chance’) which went on to win Best Drama at the Royal Television Society Awards and she quickly became cast in a number of lead roles.

A perfectionist in her craft and meticulous in her preparation for her roles, Hayley turns out excellent performances on screen for Film, TV and Commercials.
